Situation Analysis

Segari power project is a 1,303 MW Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine power station at Lumut, Perak Darul Ridzuan in Malaysia. It is the largest gas-fired power plant in Malaysia with net output of 1,303MW and was designed with the latest technology to reduce emissions and effluents below standard requirements.

Fieldstone Role

Fieldstone acted as an exclusive financial adviser to Segari Energy Ventures Sdn. Bhd., for the project financing of RM1.5 billion Floating Rate Loan and RM1.5 billion Fixed Rate bond facilities for the project. Total project costs amounted to approximately RM4 billion (equivalent of US$1.14 billion). Fieldstone also assisted in raising equity for Malakoff Berhad, the parent company of Segari Energy Ventures Sdn. Bhd.
