Situational Analysis

RPL Holdings, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Renewable Power & Light plc, sought to divest 100% of its equity interests in Elmwood Park Power LLC and Power City Partners, L.P.

 

Elmwood Park Power LLC is the owner of a 65 MW tri-fueled combined-cycle power generation plant located in Elmwood Park, NJ. The plant bids its capacity into the PJM RPM market. Elmwood sells energy into the PJM day-ahead market on a regular basis and opportunistically sells into the PJM real-time market.

 

Power City Partners, L.P. is the owner of an 85 MW tri-fueled combined cycle power generation plant located in Massena, NY. The plant bids its capacity into the New York installed capacity market and sells energy into the New York ISO day-ahead market.
