Sundar K. Sundaresan joined Fieldstone in 1995 as a Principal in the New York office and was later involved in establishing Fieldstone’s Indian operations in 1996. Mr. Sundaresan is currently in charge of the South Asian operations of Fieldstone and is the Managing Director of India office in Hyderabad.

Before joining Fieldstone, Mr. Sundaresan has had more than 30 years of diverse international experience as an engineer, transportation management consultant, shipping company executive and investment banker in the US and the Europe. He has paticipated in a number of investment banking transactions and consultancy assignments in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East. Mr. Sundaresan was President of ICME International Corporation, a leading Switzerland-based management consultancy firm. Prior to that, he was a Vice President in the New York office of International Financial Services Group of Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP).

Mr. Sundaresan has completed over one hundred management consulting assignments in the US, South America, Europe, the Middle East and India, for government and private industry as well as international organizations such as OPEC and OAPEC. He has also advised multinational banks such as Citibank, Chase Manhattan, Lehman Brothers and Lazard Freres in areas of infrastructure and shipping.

Mr. Sundaresan graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.), Kharagpur with B.Tech (Hon's) in 1962 and an MBA degree from INSEAD, France in 1967.
