David Perlman joined Fieldstone in 1999. In his 19 years of banking experience and three additional years of utility consulting experience, he has provided strategic and structuring advisory services and debt and equity financing for public, private and governmental entities in the electric power, electrical equipment, gas, coal and nuclear fuels industries, both domestically and internationally. Immediately prior to joining Fieldstone, he was a Director at ABN AMRO Incorporated, ABN AMRO's investment banking subsidiary, where he was responsible for electric and gas utility and project finance origination and structuring. He previously spent six years as a Director and Vice President in Salomon Brothers' Global Power Group with a focus on corporate and project finance and financial advisory services for the electric power and the gas transmission industries and where he also had overall responsibility for electric and gas sector privatizations worldwide.

 

Prior to his joining Salomon Brothers, Mr. Perlman spent three years doing complex structured project finance transactions for the power industry at Commercial Union Capital Corp. and six years in project and corporate finance for the power and energy industries at The First Boston Corporation. Mr. Perlman also has three years experience as a regulatory and financial consultant to the utility industry at Putnam, Hayes & Bartlett, Inc. and at ICF Incorporated. Mr. Perlman holds an M.B.A. with high distinction (1980) from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and also holds M.Phil. (1978) and B.A. (1970) degrees in Mathematics from Yale University.
