Robin A. Jones joined Fieldstone in 1999. Over the past five years she has advised companies on the raising of equity, debt and mezzanine financing for the development, construction and operation of a number of projects and transactions. In addition to providing strategic advice, she has completed the financing of domestic and international transactions in mergers and acquisitions in the power generation field as well as in the energy and pipeline industries. She recently led the Fieldstone team in the financial restructuring and recapitalization of the Longhorn Pipeline, a 750 mile refined products pipeline in Texas.
Her previous position was head of Project Finance at Greenwich NatWest in Connecticut, where she led a group of structured finance professionals responsible for origination, structuring and execution of all project financings undertaken by the group in the Americas. She also worked for several years as a Senior Vice President at ABB Project & Trade Finance (USA), Inc., where she was responsible for providing global project and structured finance advisory services to ABB group companies and their clients. Ms. Jones has more than twenty years of domestic and international experience in the financial advisory, structuring, planning, analysis and arrangement of projects in a number of industry sectors including energy, oil & gas, infrastructure and power, including cogeneration and independent power project facilities.
She has completed more than $10 billion of transactions in the thermal and geothermal power, hydro, infrastructure, petrochemical, pipeline, pulp & paper, telecom and resource recovery industries. Ms. Jones holds degrees from Wellesley College (B.A.), New York University (M.A.) and Babson College (M.B.A.) and has frequently spoken at conferences both in the U.S. and globally on a range of topics related to the financing of projects in a number of industries.
