Fieldstone opens Continental European office in Berlin

 

May 20, 2003 - Fieldstone, an investment bank specializing in the energy and infrastructure sectors, has expanded its business in continental Europe by opening an office in Berlin to complement its offices in London, New York and Johannesburg. Jason Harlan and Andrew Smith Maxwell were appointed Managing Directors to lead the initiative. Jason Harlan was head of Mirant Germany and responsible for the development of the company in Europe up until 2002. Andrew Smith-Maxwell is the former head of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein’s European Energy Utilities activities and subsequently was a director of Wessex Water after helping YTL Power International to acquire the company in 2002.
